Tchaikovsky piano no.2 and manfred symphony by semyon and BBC symphony orchestra at Barbican !

So excited to listen to semyon conducting the BBC symphony orchestra for a night of Tchaikovsky ! The pianist was eager to tell many things and played it like a rhapsody . The concert master played the 2nd movement of Tchaikovsky so well that it almost sounded like a violin concerto . The tempo of the 3rd movement was humorous . The orchestra sounded wide awake ! It’s my first time listening to the manfred symphony of a poem that a man killed himself after he failed to plea for his mysterious guilt ! I wish this music could go on forever but then it ended . It has some sweet part and some dramatic and serious part .
